Unlike many others, our safety glasses are made with thin, flat arms. They won’t dig into your temples when you put your shooting headphones on, and they also won’t break the noise seal from your earmuffs. This makes them safer and more comfortable.
Furthermore, Tradesmart donates a percentage of its profits to charities that help underprivileged kids. This gives you the option to equip yourself with professional shooting gear, while helping charities at the same time - at no charge to you at all.
Our shooting earmuffs (same in all packages) provide NRR 28. For additional hearing protection, you can wear your earplugs at the same time, giving you NRR 38. On their own, earplugs provide NRR 33.

Clear shooting glasses provide clear vision, anti-fogging & eye safety for indoor ranges. Tinted safety glasses are the same. Plus they help you shoot outdoors, in sunlight.

Ear plugs provide better hearing protection than earmuffs because you can fit ear plugs into your ear canal. Even greater hearing protection can be achieved when you wear earmuffs on top of your ear plugs, commonly referred to as “double plugging.”
Earmuffs typically block 15 to 30 dB. To block out as much noise as possible, we recommend wearing earmuffs on top of your earplugs. This practice is commonly called “double-plugging”.
Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) measures how effective a noise-canceling device is, where higher numbers indicate better hearing protection. Note that the NRR number does not block out the equal amount of dB. To find out how many dB your device will block, deduct 7 from the NRR and divide the result by 2.
Example: NRR 28 earmuffs block out 10.5 dB. The math is: (28 - 7) / 2 = 10.5.
While all three kits provide adequate hearing protection for yard work or gun range purposes, the Professional and Premium kits also include NRR 33 ear plugs and the hard carrying case. The frames on safety glasses in the Premium kit also feature extra padding, making Premium the safest choice. The color selection for the Premium kit also differs.
